Building Communities from the Inside Out: The
ABCD Training Group (affiliated with the Asset-Based Community Development
Institute of Northwestern University) invites you to attend a three-day
workshop on the concepts and applications of asset-based community
development. Learn how you can mobilize citizens to action, rediscover local
assets, and utilize ABCD tools. Hotel Accommodations:

3-DAY workshop will review the principles of asset-based community
development, focus on ABCD tools, techniques, and applications, and meet in
small groups for problem solving and "nuts and bolts"
conversations. The group will travel to Seattle’s neighborhoods to meet with neighborhood
residents and nonprofit leaders who will share their ABCD stories.
The
registration fee is $500.00. The price includes lunch meals and a Saturday
neighborhood tour. There is a $40.00 discount for registering two or more
participants. A $40.00 late registration fee will apply after the 30-day
deadline. Participants are responsible
